About Us
I have been riding bikes of various sorts since I was 4 years old. I loved bikes so much that I rode them until they wore out. This meant I needed to learn how to fix them. As I got older, other interests came and went but my love of cycling was the one constant.
I trained as an electrical engineer and worked in the chemicals industry for a number of years before becoming a technical safety engineer in the oil industry. I was eventually offered voluntary redundancy and decided to train as a bike mechanic. I completed my IMI Level 2 and Bike Inn Level 3 qualification in bicycle maintenance.
Bike have become more technically advanced in recent years and many jobs require special tools. I believe that the only sensible number bikes or of tools is n+1, hence I pride myself in having the right tools for almost any job.
